I'm co-creating a radio show and every day that goes by I get more excited about how well it's coming along. I am really enjoying the journey. How many times have you cursed the journey because it didn't go fast enough or you started worring about the money it would take or how you would find the time etc?
As soon as those thoughts crop up WE CAN take the bull by the horns and refocus on feeling good!
I read a wonderful e-mail Joe Vitale sent out this morning and I wanted to share it. It's called Tranformational Vocabulary
Check this out....
Transformational Vocabulary
What I want you to do is change some of the words you use when you communicate to yourself.
These subtle changes can make all the difference in how you handle issues as they arise. For instance...
- Refer to problems as "opportunities."
- Refer to problems as "opportunities."
- Replace I have to - with, "I get to."
- A setback is really a "challenge."
- Tormentors are really "teachers."
- Pain can be a signal. Replace I demand with, "I would appreciate."
- Rather than complain, you can "request."
- Instead of feeling like you're struggling, you can be on a "journey."
- Rather than simply doing - why not "create?"
- When times get tough, say to yourself - "this too shall come to pass."
I'll stop here as the list could go and on and on- I'm guessing you get my point by now. And this is just one way of learning how to deal with issues in your life.
